I’ve been playing around with Leo on a variety of machines (even some real Macs!) and found the X3100 kext quite intriguing. Not only does it tell us the Apple are planning to release a system using GM965 soon, but surprisingly for an early kext version, it actually works!

I’m messing around with Natit at the moment, injecting values from the IOReg of a MacBook to see if I can get the internal display working. So far, I’ve got the driver to acknowledge that the internal display exists, but that it’s ‘not usable’… Ho hum, we might have to wait for Apple’s upcoming product for that one.
